- β Brain fog or difficulty concentrating at work
- β Reduced libido (sex drive) or performance issues
- β Loss of muscle tone despite staying active
- β Stubborn body fat, especially around the midsection

β οΈ TRT Is Not For Everyone
Testosterone Replacement Therapy is a medical treatment for diagnosed hypogonadism (low testosterone). It is not a lifestyle supplement. Eligibility is determined by AHPRA-registered doctors based on strict clinical criteria, including blood levels and symptom history.
How It Works for Sunshine Coast Residents
A simple 4-step process designed to fit your lifestyle.
Book Your Telehealth Consult
Schedule your initial consultation online. Choose a time that works for youβwhether that’s before work or during a break.
Complete Blood Work
We provide a referral form accepted at major pathology centers across the Sunshine Coast (QML, S&N, etc.). Visit a center near you between 7 AM and 10 AM (fasted).
Doctor Review & Plan
Your doctor reviews your results and discusses them with you via video. We determine if your symptoms are hormonal or related to other factors.
Delivery & Ongoing Care
If eligible, prescriptions are sent to our partner pharmacy and medication is expressed delivered to your door. Structured monitoring ensures your safety.
Logistics for Local Patients

π Burnout vs. Hormones
Many men move to the Coast for a better lifestyle but still feel drained. It’s crucial to differentiate between general “burnout” and physiological issues.
Low testosterone often presents as fatigue that doesn’t resolve with rest or lifestyle changes. Blood work is the only way to know for sure.
π Avoid the Brisbane Run
Accessing specialist men’s health care often implies a day trip to Brisbane, dealing with traffic and parking.
Our service is 100% telehealth. You can have your consultation from your deck or office, saving hours of travel time while accessing the same quality of medical care.
π Using GP Results
If you’ve recently seen a local GP and have blood results, you can use these for your initial assessment if:
- They are less than 3 months old.
- They include Total Testosterone, SHBG, and LH/FSH.
- They were taken before 10 AM.
Simply upload them when booking or have them ready for your video call.
Getting Your Blood Tests Locally
Pathology access is simple, with centers available throughout the region.
Option 1: Order Before Consult
If you want to fast-track the process and arrive at your consultation with results, you can order a comprehensive panel immediately via our partner iMedical.
- No GP referral needed for this specific order
- Accepted at major pathology centers (QML, etc.)
- Results sent directly to you
Option 2: Get Referral During Consult
If you prefer to speak to a doctor first, simply book a consultation. Our doctor will assess your history and email you a pathology request form if testing is appropriate.
- Discuss specific symptoms first
- Doctor determines exact panels needed
- Referral form emailed instantly
π Practical Rules for Accurate Testing
Testosterone levels peak in the morning. You must have your blood drawn between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Late results are often rejected as inaccurate.
Do not eat before your blood test. Water is fine (and recommended), but avoid food and coffee until after the draw.
Bring a digital or printed copy of your pathology request form and your Medicare card / ID to the collection center.
Monitoring & Patient Safety
Responsible medical care requires ongoing supervision.
We do not simply provide a prescription and disappear. TRT is a medical therapy that affects multiple body systems. Our Sunshine Coast patients remain under the care of our medical team with a structured monitoring protocol.
Tracking haematocrit, PSA, liver function, and lipids.
Scheduled follow-ups to adjust dosage and discuss well-being.
Proactive management of potential side effects.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from our patients on the Coast.
Do I need to travel to Brisbane for any appointments?
No. Our entire service model is designed to be 100% telehealth. You can consult with our doctors via video link from your home. Pathology tests can be done at any local collection center on the Sunshine Coast (Noosa, Maroochydore, Caloundra, Nambour, etc.). You do not need to drive to Brisbane.
Can I use blood tests from my GP?
Yes, provided they are recent (within the last 3 months) and contain the required markers (Total Testosterone, LH, FSH, SHBG, etc.). If you have these results, please have them ready to upload or display during your video consultation. This can often speed up the assessment process.
What if sleep is my main problem?
Sleep issues are complex. While poor sleep can be a symptom of low testosterone, it can also be a cause. Sleep apnea, common in men, can drastically lower testosterone levels. During your assessment, our doctors will review your history to determine if testosterone deficiency is the primary issue or if sleep optimization (or a referral for a sleep study) should be the first step.
Do I need a referral to book?
No, you do not need a referral from your regular GP to book a consultation with our doctors. We are a direct-access specialist service.
Is this legal in Australia?
Yes. We operate in strict accordance with Australian medical regulations. All consultations are performed by AHPRA-registered doctors, and all prescriptions are dispensed by Australian registered pharmacies. We treat diagnosed medical hypogonadism, not recreational use.
How quickly can I get started?
Once your blood results are received (usually 2-4 business days after collection), we review them with you. If treatment is prescribed, medication is typically dispatched within 24-48 hours via express delivery.
